Enterprise Development Programs
Moqah Foundation offers intensive and engaging programs focused on vocational training and entrepreneurial skills. These courses are aimed at helping women and young girls achieve success in their endeavors and are offered for free.
Economic Life (eLife) Program
The Economic Life (eLife) curriculum was provided by the Foundation for Social Change. The program includes contributions from New York University’s Stern Business School for Social Innovation and some of the world’s most highly regarded International Development experts. The curriculum has been translated and modified to meet the cultural realities of women in underserved areas of Pakistan and training is based on a 10 week curriculum. eLife participants learn financial skills in money management, budgeting, banking, credit, and how to create a business plan. The eLife program provides women with tools necessary to start successful businesses, generate income, send their children to school, and lift families and communities out of poverty. Since 2012, over 1,000 women have graduated from the program annually. This course is offered to relatives of the students in our schools and the women of the community.

Alternative Business Essentials Program
Moqah Foundation launched the Alternative Business Essentials Program in Bhara Kahu in 2019. This curriculum is an intensive five day training program and is based on two main beliefs: all people deserve to thrive economically and all people have the ability to direct their destiny with the proper tools. Moqah Foundation conducts five trainings in seven months, training over 140 women. This course is offered to relatives of the students in our schools and the women of the community. These seminars allow illiterate women to participate and network with one another so that they can continue to support each other.

Vocational Training
Moqah Foundation provides vocational training classes that run in tandem with the classes at our schools. These classes are open to our students in grades six, seven, and eight.
